I was honored to be selected to be on the Hobe Sound Chamber Board of Directors back in 2009. I have been very encouraged by the loyalty of the membership and I am inspired to give back to this chamber. After discovering an unprecedented example of a family atmosphere, I knew the Hobe Sound Chamber was the professional organization that best fit my values and needs. Since I first joined the chamber, I was able to make positive connections and centers of influence to help my clients and prospects. I was able to have an immediate impact in assisting members with their credit card processing and other payment handling. Never was I able to make or receive as much of an impact in any other organization or lead group.
After being involved with the Board, learning about the Chamber’s history and working with members, I was obliged to accept an executive position. Along the way, I have made it a point to stay devoted to doing more and more business with Chamber members.
I look forward to meeting more members, leaning about their businesses, and hearing their ideas, thoughts and visions for Hobe Sound’s future. Our Board is focused on being available to our members, helping our member businesses stay healthy and financially stable. We are focused on enhancing current programs and introducing new ones as we grow the membership base. We are increasing technology efficiency for the chamber while providing education opportunities for members. We hope to give our members more of an online presence through our website and social media pages.
Remember, the Hobe Sound chamber is here as your resource and we want to help you. There is so much value in being a member. Take advantage of the opportunities to share what you do, why and the benefits of doing business with your company. Each day the Chamber offers every member the opportunity to showcase their business. I strongly encourage every member to attend our Monthly Breakfast Meetings, Business After Hours socials, and special events. You may even consider a table sponsorship that gives you a captivated audience of more than 100 people at Breakfast Meetings. Think about advertising your business on the Chamber website viewed by thousands of people per month. In the meantime, the Chamber staff and leadership will be committed to helping your business thrive.
