I am confident that 2013 will prove to be a successful year for our Chamber family as we grow and add additional member services and new events such as the Hobe Sound Craft Festival, the Ho So Pub Crawl and Cocktails & Connections. Midyear, we will debut a new Community & Preferred Business Guide and Smart Phone App. We will continue to work within our budget, as we soldier on with accomplishing the goal of ensuring a sustainable future for the Chamber, so we can continue to serve our business members to the best of our ability. The Hobe Sound Chamber will continue to provide opportunities for business members and citizens to stay connected, network, receive continuing education and give back to their community.
Even though Hobe Sound is considered small in land mass, compared to surrounding communities, our Chamber membership is large, stretching across County lines from West Palm Beach to Port Saint Lucie. The voice of the Hobe Sound Chamber and its members is powerful and carries far beyond our geographic boundaries. Residents and business owners are proud of Hobe Sound’s rich history, traditions and small- town appeal. Many of our local businesses were established years ago and continue to flourish; new and seasoned businesses in Hobe Sound have a bright future.
We offer services to newcomers, visitors, residents and businesses year-round. Hobe Sound plays host to several major events throughout the year that enhance the local economy such as our Christmas Parade in December and Art Festival in February.
The Hobe Sound Chamber is privately funded and thrives solely on the support of its membership through their generosity, volunteerism and participation in events.
